Eversource Energy was managing two parallel interconnection automation programs — IGP (Interconnection Generator Process) and DER (Distributed Energy Resources) — each involving multiple vendor teams and highly technical electrical utility distribution engineering.

The challenge was not technical execution. It was translation: converting complex engineering requirements into clear, high-quality deliverables that every vendor could be held accountable to — while staying aligned to NERC regulatory mandates. Integration workflows between systems were fragmented, creating data accuracy inconsistencies that threatened compliance readiness.

What We Did

Insight Veritas embedded as the central accountability layer across both interconnection programs — the bridge between Eversource’s engineering teams and every vendor partner involved in the IGP and DER automation initiatives.

Every technical engineering requirement was translated into structured, high-quality deliverables that vendor teams could execute against and stakeholders could validate. UAT (User Acceptance Testing) was managed end-to-end across both programs. Integration workflows were restructured for precision: clear handoffs, documented inputs, defined acceptance criteria at each milestone.

Phase 2 planning was completed in parallel, ensuring program continuity without scope drift or schedule variance.
